This is a Community Based Conservation Program

for a practical application and implementation of

environmentally sound solutions in an attempt to

solve socio-economic and environmental problems

at grassroots level in Tanzania, East Africa.

Hackensack Riverkeeper (U.S.)

The primary Mission of the Hackensack Riverkeeper,

Inc. is to provide representation for the natural living

resources of the Hackensack River. This representation

is manifested in the Hackensack environmental

advocacy, education and conservation programs.

The focus of Hackensack Riverkeeper, Inc. is to protect

and defend the environmental quality of the eco-system

of the estuary, river and watershed and the quality of

life for the people and other creatures that inhabit the

Hackensack River watershed.

Creek, the Sea of Cortez, ITE eco-programs are

educational, challenging and fun! All eco-programs

build upon one another, reinforcing skills and

experiences that honor the boundless energy

and curiosity of teens.

Eco-programs for kids

Building up our kids' appreciation for the

living ecosystems of Northeast Ohio

means getting them engaged—through

science, art, math, music, language arts

and games.
